Mitt Workshop
This 6-hour workshop allows participants to hand craft their own pair of custom leather mittens. Participants choose their size, leather (white or tan) and have the option to choose their own fur (rabbit, beaver, tan rabbit).
Kits are cut to participants size preference and provided with all the materials including leather, lining, fur, sinew, and needle.
Moccasin Workshop

Authentic Indigenous Moccasin Making Experience
Geared to the non-Indigenous traveller, participants will experience first-hand, the history of Indigenous people, the facts about the residential school system, the challenges Indigenous people face today, and how to move forward through reconciliation by “walking in my mocs”. This guided step-by-step session, you will not only learn about Indigenous people, but also learn about a vibrant culture and a better understanding of Indigenous people and the difference between cultural appropriation vs appreciation.
